The Ms. Mission Possible Pageant serves as an avenue to raise funds for the community advancement initiatives of the W.R. Portee Foundation and Southside Christian Palace Miracle Center. Since its conception, these initiatives have included resources for families and single mothers, health and wellness, counseling, mentorship, life coaching, and more. With a purpose to reach, rescue, and revive people from all walks of life, especially those considered at-risk. For the past 42 years, this pageant has been one of the driving forces to make this possible.  There have been hundreds of testimonials that echoed how this outreach has made a profound impact on individuals and the community as a whole.

This event also serves as a tool for positive influence and personal development for participants and attendees. It stresses the importance of communication, poise, and social development skills.  The stories of triumph from the community, participants, and attendees as a result of this event are life-changing.
