Dr. Denise L. Portee is the Overseer and Senior Pastor of Southside Christian Palace Church. The Pastoral torch was passed on to Pastor Portee by her late husband, the Honorable Archbishop W.R. Portee. Under her leadership, Southside oversees and covers three (3) other Ministries/Churches.

Trained in Theater and the Arts, Dr. Portee also holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Next Dimension Bible College. Dr. Portee is a member of the National Counsel of Negro Women (NCNW), and has traveled as the Personal Assistant to Civil Rights leader; Mamie Till– mother of Emmett Till.

Dr. Portee has also traveled around the world along side the Honorable Bishop W.R. Portee preaching the Gospel. She is the owner of Sumner School in Topeka Kansas (Brown vs. Board of Education), holder of an Honorary Doctors Degree, called by God and confirmed by Archbishop W.R. Portee.
